Our Wellbeing Walks on Wednesday were an opportunity to be at one with the outdoor world on our doorstep, marvelling at the intensity of birdsong, high up in the tree canopy, the sighting of deer grazing calmly, and the wind has changed direction. Now, the wind is blowing from the west bringing slightly warmer temperatures and of course, the rain.
This rain, a mixture of soft mist and some heavy down pours, did not stop us from enjoying our International Day celebrations. My sincere gratitude to all parents for generously giving their time and for sharing wonderful array of celebrating food, ensuring the girls came to school in their national costumes. The Flamenco Dance display was an opportunity to see all the girls unite as one cohesive group both dancing and singing together with our Spanish dance teachers from Galicia, Spain.
