Welcome to Ivy House School, formerly known as St. Anthony’s School for Girls. We are an Ofsted Outstanding, unique school where academic excellence is achieved in a safe, familiar community.
At Ivy House School, we believe that children reach their true potential when they feel safe, secure and valued as part of the community. Ivy House School’s pupils learn in an environment which is deeply focused on nurturing the individual; where they enjoy learning and develop a passion for knowledge.
Our individualised approach enables us to tailor learning to the needs of each child, therefore enabling success in all curriculum areas; academic, creative and sporting. Learning is further enhanced through our wide range of extra-curricular activities taught by specialist teachers.
We teach our pupils that, through hard work and determination, they can achieve great things. Our pupils will grow to be confident and resilient young adults, well-prepared for the wider world.
If you would like to come and visit us, meet our pupils and staff, and see what life is like at Ivy House School, it will be my pleasure to give you a personal tour.
The social, cultural and moral development of children is the most integral part of my role as Headteacher of Ivy House School. I deem it my duty to help shape young minds into morally and ethically responsible individuals; to inspire children to seek the opportunities in life that will lead them to become valued members of their society.
At Ivy House School, we teach our pupils that through, hard work and determination, we can achieve great things. Our small class sizes and individualised curriculum enable us to tailor learning to the needs of each child, therefore enabling success in all curriculum areas; academic, sporting and creative.
We recognise and value parents as the first educators. Working in partnership with our parents, we can ensure that our pupils thrive and achieve success in all aspects of their school life.
I very much look forward to meeting prospective parents and providing personal tours of our beautiful school.
