The Lion King Comes to St. Anthony’s

After 18 months without live performances, we were delighted that Years 4, 5 and 6 were able to to take to the stage for ‘The Lion King’ on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th June. The show was absolutely sensational – we are so proud of all the girls who performed with confidence, flair and dedication. We are also incredibly grateful for our Head of Music and Drama, Miss Paula, who directed the outstanding show and led the girls through weeks of rehearsals to prepare for the occasion.

A huge thank you to King Alfred Phoenix Theatre and Matt who was instrumental in using lights and special effects, bringing the stage to life. In addition, our breathtaking set was designed and built by the extremely talented Steven Peters. All in all, it was a show that brought tears to all our eyes and reminded us of how important music and drama are to our children and adults too!

We are already looking forward to next year!
