At St. Anthony’s Girls, we are committed to helping the environment, which is why we chose to celebrate Earth Day in April… but, did you know? This year, World Environment Day took place on Saturday 5th June and World Oceans Day on Tuesday 8th June.
On Thursday – coinciding with the two events – we combined both themes of environment and oceans with the whole school taking part in a range of mindfulness, debating, arts and crafts activities.
We would also like to say a huge thank you and well done to our Year 6 girls who designed and created wonderful ocean-themed knitted bracelets for all of Year 5 and 6, the Eco Club and teachers!
