The Ideal Environment for Fostering Excellence

Ivy House School prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where each pupil’s individuality is encouraged while also fostering a love of learning. The school imparts upon its pupils the notion that they can achieve remarkable feats, guided by their belief in hard work and determination. Our approach is student-centred and involves a tailored curriculum, ensuring academic success and entrance into some of the top senior day and boarding schools in the UK.

Along with a stimulating curriculum, pupils have the opportunity to engage in extracurricular activities, such as chess, choir, drama, and gymnastics, all guided by hand-picked expert teachers. The historical significance of the school has influenced its offering of activities. Anna Pavlova, a world-renowned prima ballerina, has inspired Ivy House School’s ballet programme since its early days.

Ivy House School’s values of kindness, inspiration, respect and forgiveness serve as guiding principles, enabling pupils to have a truly transformative premium education while preparing them for a future filled with success.

A Word from our Head

Donal

Welcome to Ivy House School. Situated in leafy Hampstead, we are a unique Ofsted Outstanding school where academic excellence is achieved in a safe, familiar community.

We believe that children reach their true potential when they feel safe, secure and valued as part of the community. Ivy House School’s pupils learn in an environment which is deeply focused on nurturing the individual; where they enjoy learning and develop a passion for knowledge.

Our individualised approach enables us to tailor learning to the needs of each child, enabling success in all curriculum areas. Learning is further enhanced through our wide range of extracurricular activities taught by specialist teachers.

We teach our pupils that, through hard work and determination, they can achieve great things. Our pupils will grow to be confident and resilient young adults, well-prepared for the wider world.

If you would like to come and visit us, meet our pupils and staff, and see what life is like at Ivy House School, it will be my pleasure to give you a personal tour.
